At a meeting in November 2019, the committee through the Swiss and French Sagarmatha Organizations decided to extend its support to the Punarbal Plus center (www.punarbalplus.org), a structure located in Kathmandu.
This home takes in orphaned children and adolescents whose parents have died of AIDS. The children are themselves infected with the virus and receive anti-retroviral treatment.
At the Punarbal center, children are not only cared for medically, but can also attend normal school and vocational training.
As of 2020, it is possible to take on a sponsorship or make donations (tax-exempt) to the Punarbal center, through the Swiss Sagarmatha Organization.
