Punarbal Plus provides shelter, nutrition, psychosocial and educational care for the children and adolescents.

The children come from different districts of Nepal such as Achham, Kailali, Gorkha, Banke, Dhading, Rupandehi, etc. Prior to coming to Punarbal Home, these children lived in extreme poverty and were discriminated by the community.

At Punarbal Home, children receive nutritious food, a clean environment, weekly medical check-ups, psychosocial support, and above all, a stigma-free environment. Psychosocial support is crucial to ensure a healthy state of mind following the traumatic events experienced by these children. Regular psycho-social counseling helps the children cope with trauma and enables them to solve their problems.

Punarbal Plus coordinates with schools, institutions, government and non-governmental organizations for educational materials, nutritional support, antiretroviral (ARV) and other medicines.
